I've got a truck that I'm going to be using as a daily driver that weighs about 3k and will have around 450 horse. I have a 3600 stall as well (may switch to smaller stall eventually). Now, I have a 4L65 that is a 4x4 tranny that I'm going to convert to be 2wd. However, I have a buddy who needs a 4x4 tranny but has a 2wd 4L60. He would give me his 2wd tranny plus $100 for my 4L65. Both transmissions have 15k on them. Am I going to blow up the 65 just as fast as the 60? Or is it worth it to keep my 65? Labor is not an issue, both trannys are out right now. Opinions Please!!!
