Hey guys. I'm wanting to swap a 5.3 out of a 2001-up pickup into my Dad's 89 GMC 1500. My question is on the VATS system. If i get the computer and engine harness will I still have to deal with it? I'm going to get a complete pull out. The engine, tranny, exhause system, harness, ecm, and all acc. I'm just wondering about the VATS system I keep reading about. Any info would be appreciated.
