Question on Theftlock
Ok guys...swallowing pride (I'm an auto electric rebuilder)
I went to Audio Specialties today (local sound shop) and was about to buy a new head unit. As I was at the counter they tried to hit me with $250 over the cost of the radio...I was like "umm...bulls**t" They then told me I needed a $150 "magicbox" and a $100 wiring harness to hook it up in my truck. I ask what the so called "magicbox" was and they told me..."since you have a theft lock radio you have to have this box to retain your keyless entry and full usage of your airbags" Do I have to buy this "magicbox" or were they just trying to sell me a $150 plastic box
... I’ve got a place that I can buy a harness to hook up the radio to the stock ports for $8. Is that all I need or do I have to buy this "magicbox"
