hey whats up, n00b here, just wanted to check in and say whats up. i've got a 2k2 sunblast yellow gmc stepside 4.8L mac cai, flowmaster american thunder, and i've been looking to do the ls1 conversion and came across these forums. looking forward to learning alot, and meeting you all.

Welcome, you came to the right place. that swap is easy just use all your truck parts and install a 5.7 longblock. Then get some tuning and you should be in the 13-14s. I love those sunblast yellow trucks!

i've taken it to the track, i cant find my timesilps, but at palmdale i ran a 16.67 @ 89mph if i remember correctly.

haha dont worry allen, im pretty sure i'll be needing your help. but not to break 15's, to break 13's, after i drop in the ls1 . right now, im looking around for blown motors, so i can start with the block, and have a fully built ls1 to drop in the truck, and from reading around the forums, looks like i'll need your help.
