Well it was a sad day this happened. I was traveling on beltway 8 in Houston and was coming back from my honeymoon. I was going bout 60 going in the right fast lane of the eztag and was about 4 car lengths behind an altima when out of nowhere a flatbed work truck pulls out in front of the altima about 2 lengths or less from him . The flatbed truck was in the toll lanes. The altima locks up his brakes and barely misses the flatbed truck. I slam on my stock crap brakes and slide right into the back of doing bout 25mph . It didnt do anything to the motor, however my grill is lose, my lights are lose, and my front bumper is bent really bad. I think its the brackets. The metal bumper is intact, but dented. My plastic bumper cover is cracked and warped. I needed to know how easy is it to take the metal bumper off? Brackets, mounting points, etc...., and how cheap can it be fixed? Im going to repair the altima all it did was crack their bumper, i cant believe it didnt do more. Good thing is i didnt get ticketed and the people agreed to have me fix their bumper.

You're fortunate that the air bags didn't deploy. It gets major expensive when that happens. The foam behind the bumper on the Altima will probably have to be replaced when you fix the rear bumper on it. What year and model truck is your truck?

Its a 2004 ls. The bottom half of the bumper with the fog lights was not damaged only the top half. The metal(chrome) is dented slightly and the black plastic top is undamaged, just touching the bottom of the grill.
