i'll call the dealer tomarrow and see what they'll charge. but, if anyone knows where i might be able to get it done cheaper, or free, i'd appreciate the input.

Just get one with lower miles and put it in yourself, it is really easy....just plug it in. I have the escalade sluster in mine showing like 16000 miles and it is a 2000 model silverado.....just keep record of the actual mileage of the vehacle in case you sell it!!

i already installed it myself. bought it new, with zero miles.. it now has 1600 miles. just wanted it set correctly, but it's not much of a problem to me anymore.

    thanks for the input though.

i went with the 03-05 ss cluster because of the digital gear readout. they said it wouldn't work in my 06, but it works just fine..

how much did they charge to set the mileage? they shouldn't have to reflash my pcm for this would they?
