What heads are good for 5.3L build. Ive looked and cant find info

I have a 2000 silverado with the 5.3 im going to rebuild. What are some good cheap heads that can be lightly worked and make good power with ?

Ive searched and can not find anything. I hear LS6 heads and all but what else?

if motor is staying n/a, get some 862's. if you're going with a turbo/blower/nawwwws, get some 243s.
862s are highest compression heads, i have a set i'm getting a 5 angle valve job on, milled for higher compression, and ported/polished...hope to have the gains up within a couple months. still at machine shop

4.8's, 5.3's were a couple castings used. several will work, 862's seem easiest to find

Trying to find more info on these head.

Whats some budget wise mods to do on these heads. Valves and springs.

Goals are to make 300-350whp now in this motor. via over haul ,ported out heads, bigger tb, small to mild cam, long tube headers and exhaust and intake. Im not sure if im dreaming here

    any advise?
