    ls1 cam question

i have read the post on here that allen posted about the ls1 cam swap in a 5.3 and was just curious would a set of ls6 springs be good to go with this swap? and also i have a tune already would it be ok to leave it the way it is or would i need to get the tune tweaked? i am shifting around 5000 all the way through.

Yellow Ls6 would be perfect for that small cam. I had and others run that cam on stock springs. You'll be fine either way.

ok so i got my cam and springs installed. i have to admit for such a small cam it sure opened my 5.3 up. it is pulling alot harder off the line than it was. for the money it is a great upgrade. but as far as the idle i dont know if it is me or what but it has a little lope. with it having such a tight lsa i wouldnt think it would lope at all. i know the specs on these cams are highly debated but it has a 1721 stamp on the end if someone has the true specs on this cam would be very helpful. by the way very happy with the upgrade if you are on a budget this is the way to go.
