95 chevy 1500 4X4 v6 to LQ4

hey guys im kinda new to this swaps, what is needed to make it work with the orginal 4x4.
i want to put a 6.0 but i dont know what am i gonna need, so if someone knows please tell me

one more question, can use my tranny or do i have to use a newer tranny??

im in the process of trying to do the same thing to my 98. i know you can use the 4L60E tranny thats already in your truck but from what ive read in other peoples threads its not going to hold up to the 6.0. im going to replace mine with the 6L80E it bolts right up and its designed to handle the 6.0. good luck with your swap
