Go ahead and post your fixes, if you would. I am sure the topic will come up at least a dozen times in the near future.

Who'd you order the tach adapter from? BakerElectronix.com or Dakota Digital?

Sorry, haven't logged in here for a while. I haven't made any progress in a few weeks since I'm at school now. Semester is ending in a few weeks so it should be done in mid May. My speedo should work once I reprogram the secondary VSS output on my PCM to 2000 PPM. Then I have to build a converter box to get 4000 PPM for the cruise control since I'm using the other PCM VSS output for my ABS.

I assumed the tach would work right off the bat, am I wrong about that?

The tach has to be a 4 cyl tach or have an adapter. Otherwize I think it will read too high. I used the Dakota Digital adapter, that was before I knew about Baker Electronics. With the adapter you can use any old tach. Hell mine came from a 6cyl.

I've been pretty busy so I haven't had time to do much. I'm still gathering some components. I talked with Steve at LS1performance and he's custom fabbing me some full length headers with the Jet Hot. Here's a picture of what they are going to look like.

I'll try to keep you guys updated as I can.

I can change the number of tachometer lead pulses per crankshaft revolution using EFILive so I'll just figure out what that needs to be to work with my stock tach. I want to avoid aftermarket electronics at all costs.
