what ever you do, do spindles in the front, they ride good stay away from drop control arms , i would do a 2''spindle with a one inch spring in the front and hangers and shackles remove overload leaf in rear with good shocks

i believe it came out to a 3/5. the overload gives you an extra 3/4-1 inch

Sorry to interupt your thread, but since were on the topic of lowering trucks, how come nobody just goes with a new leaf pack... i know belltech makes a 4inch lowering leaf for the back... And mcgaughys makes like a 3inch or something like that... Just a question?

If I had to do it again I would use the drop leafs and the slam air helper bags for the towing. Much Easier than other options.

i will be running drop leafs and front spindles whenever my truck goes down..... I have no intentions of beating out frame rivets.

Cool, good to know.... for awhile, i thought i was the only one that wanted to do the leaf in the back, and spindles up front... most people only talk about hangers and stuff..
