Dustin, most of the population's financial state is just fine last time I remembered... Yes, there is a small percentage that has been affected by the credit crunch and the slight decline in the housing market in some areas, but for the most part, we are ok...
And I did talk to Danny about it. I was completely unbiased in the way I talked to him. We spoke and discussed the situation after the install--Danny was inquisitive in how Daniel's install went. He wanted to know is everything went ok and if it ran well---just like anybody else would. Like I said, I explained it to him and he had his opinions on it...like the old adage: Opinions are like assholes--everybody has one. The "squeak" could have come from the alternator, from a valve guide, from a lifter not pumping up with oil from Daniel's horribly dirty oil/motor, from a mouse taking a ride on the serpentine belt...WHATEVER. We all could come up with different reasons why there was this apparent "spueak," but it is gone now and Daniel's truck is running strong, spinning all 4 from a dig...
So I digress on this whole situation. We ALL know that these two guys don't get along...and that's ok. There have been a few people I have come across that I just plain don't like as well... I know both of them personally and from what I know, they are both very knowledgeable guys when it comes to their mechanical ability. I am sure that both of them can post on threads together on any site they want--as long as they don't start to poke jabs at each other about personal topics. And there is really no need to make comments on each other's personal lives on a public forum as such--and there is also no reason to get pissy about what someone says on the INTERNET. I say that if someone has an issue with another that they should be respectable adults and talk in person about it all--not on someone else's thread... Let's just call a spade a spade and move along with our lives...

so basically daniels dirty ass engine was whining for new heads and alternator. see i knew there was a simple answer once tyler got in the discussion. btw gas prices and economy sucks right now, thats what i was saying about money being tight for a lot of people.
