FWIW, if your truck can run sub 7s you need to install a rollcage anyway. Why not be safe? I stood there this weekend and watched to 60s Novas almost take out the fence, both sub 7 cars. You know both drivers were very glad they had full cages and 5 point minimum harnesses to keep them in the cars as the slid at 45 degree angles to the gaurd rails. Had they wrecked or rolled they may have walked away. Luck had it that they both saved their cars but loaded their shorts.

7.8 is awesome for a TBSS. Guys I see running out there with built 403s and larger are only hitting 8.2s.

no 2811 is the Density Altitude and you are correct if you run that fast then have what you need in place to be safe and legal. i would rather be safe then fast any day. like red said it doesnt take long for things to go bad fast...

I am sure that several people can bring grills and we can cook out or the track has a concession stand that I am sure we can get the to open up. There are lots of details to be ironed out if it happens but right now just need to find out a head count to see if its worth renting the track for us to play with or just find a day that a local track is open and set up a big meet and greet type thing that we can cook at and people can get some track time with. I dont mind being the point man since i am here in the DFW area. and for you out of towners if we have enough come in then maybe we can find a local motel/hotel that is not in the projects and block some rooms and possible get some good rates. food for though please let me know who might be interested and we can go from there as well as other ideas and possibilities...
