I still have a few things to tie up like one tranny line, the coolant purge line, finish clearancing upper control arm mount, put the exhaust manifold back on and reprogram the pcm but I had it started so I am happy. Hopefully finish up the little stuff tonight, take it to the exhaust shop in the morning and then its in to the body shop.

Think I can have it done by friday ??

Well like always I had some demons but now I have a truck that runs and drives excellent. Took it down to the exhaust shop today and had some duals run that dump before the axle, sounds nice at idle, very nice when I get on it and it should get louder down the road. The Lokar shifter looks badass with the motor running because it is directly mounted to the tranny and shakes with the motor, awesome piece I would recommend to anyone looking for an old school look.

The pull of the LS-1 continues to amaze me, the faster you go the faster it accelerates, very different from my LT-1 Z-28. Unfortunately right now it is a one wheel wonder and has a rather small gear I think not sure yet, I'll have to jack up the rearend and see but I think somewhere around a 2.73 which contributes to the topend pull. So down the road some rear work is in order. But right now I am very happy to have the truck running, sorry for the long winded post.

hey leadsled, that is great!!! do you have any more pics of the exhaust, stance, wheels, etc.

    what about the engine compartment?

ya, the ls1 is an awesome engine , even though it's pushrod technology, nothing matches it. you stock engine should pull up to about 6350 rpms, so crank that badboy up and let her sing, hehehe.
mine shifts at 6500 and no problems, ever.

when do you plan to have it completed?

Orange City is like halfway in between Daytona and Orlando, and I won't be able to get home to finish it up until Christmas probably.
