Anybody have DBW in a OBS truck ?

Looking for some pics and ideas of how to modify a DBW pedal to fit in a OBS truck.

I'm working on one as well, only just in the gathering parts stage at this point so can't help with pics yet. I'm dealing with throttle and clutch since I'm putting an LS3/TR6060 combo. When I get it figured out I'll post it up. Good luck, hopefully someone will post something up we can both steal.

i do. its been done MANY times. just gotta bend it as straight as you need to clear the tunnel. mounts basically in stock location too. a few grinds here and there but you just gotta bend it, check it, bend it, grind it... etc. nobody has measurements. just do it. all i can say is be EASY with the heat if you use a torche. use some sort of heat sink. and do as little hammering as possible. the sensors in it are easily destroyed. ask me how i know....

just get a vice and something with some leverage and your good to go.

I don't know about Houston but my pedal is out of a late model Camaro and is pretty much all plastic, ain't no way that's going to bend. I looked at it today and it looks like I should be able to bend up a piece of 1/8" to mound to the firewall and mount the pedal to that. I'll post up pics when I get it mocked up.

true. he didnt specify what year or model he was talking about. mine is from an 02-05 escalade/avalanche/truck. camaro corvette and other years will make a difference. in that case, especially if its plastic.... then you got me... all i can say is get creative!! haha good luck

Mines is from a 2005 Avalanche, looking at the pedal it just seems longer than the stock pedal I was thinking about cutting a inch or so out and then welding it in a better position. But heating and bending sounds like a good alternative too
