1990 C1500 Sport (Converted to TPI) to 6.0L questions

Got a few questions while reading, I did not see an answer too and I realize that most use a stock harness to run the new LS engine.

However, I'm going to run a standalone harness that's already been modified by LSPerformanceWiring. So, my question is, out of the stock harness (that was modified for TPI 7 years ago), what wires do I need to keep in the main harness and what wires can I remove? I know I can remove all the ECM stuff but I probably need to keep the hot wires and starter wires??

Also, anybody running the Schonfield 1 7/8" headers? Any fitment issues? Is there ceramic coating good quality?

Engine mounts, is everyone running the stock clamp shell bolted to a Dirty Dingo or other plate that is set back 1" or what is better?

You can probably get rid of the old PCM wires. You will need to keep the hot wires and starter wires.

Can't help you with the header question.

As for the mounts, I ran the original clamshells with adapter plates I found on Ebay. Be sure to get the 1" setback plates. I ordered standard plates and installed the engine with them. It was only after the fact that I realized that I needed the 1" setback plates to get the transmission back to it's original location on the crossmember.
