    neutral safety switch wiring

Im in the middle of making a new harness for my 95 4.8 swap 5speed to 4l80e. As most harnesses from the junk yard, my neutral safety switch plug is missing. I found all the wires but one, the orange black wire (park neutral signal) were is it and were does it go? Also, in lt1swap's harness modifications it shows only leaving one wire to the 7 pin connector and all 4 to the 4 pin connector.
    Help would be nice
    Its driving me crazy!

do you have a diagram??? it should explain everything. and it depends on what plug your referring to.... the small 4 wire goes straight to the dash. all it does is controll the prndl light. the 7 pin one goes to the fuse block/reverse lights to control to starter.

That's the plug I'm talking about, still can't find were they would go on a 5 speed swap.
Also, on lt1 swaps harness he removed all but the black/white stripe from the 7 pin. But not sure that would work in my case.

Ok so your putting the 80e IN right? Did your new motor come with a harness and fuse block? If so, the wires go to the fuse block. And I labeled where on the block they go in that link I posted. I'm not exactly sure what your trying to do or what you have already.

I can help u with this. Just need some clarification. Sorry

Yep, 5 speed to the junk yard and 80e in. I'm in the process of re working another harness as I deleted all the automatic wires from the first one. The new one is missing the plugs and I'm using lt1swap's way to thin the harness so it runs its own little 4 fuse block. So no truck fuse block.
I understand the function of every thing, I just don't know were to start for hooking it up to tell the computer when its in park/neutral.

I have to look at the diagrams to verify, but iirc, none of those go to the computer. I think they are only for the starter.... the computer needs the signal from the 4 wire connector. I did a write up on that recently too in the electrical section

OK, that's a good start. So I need a relay for the 7 pin to the starter, something to take the place of the clutch switch (switch that won't allow it to start with out clutch pressed)
I can read diagrams, I just don't know what key words to search to find them. If done been through every thing that looked us full on Google searching "4l80e neutral safety switch" "nv3500 4l80e/4l60e swap" etc etc. But still can't find any thing. Mostly the harness pin out pops up but that don't do any good.
