    Inline fuel pump placement

In the 2000 silvy I got a fuel cell from db rods and fits nicely. Where are guys putting thier inline pump? My pumps the eliminator a1000, so it's not the smallest pump.. I still have leafs and don't have room to mount it right there next to the cell.. I'd like it as close and low as possible. I had it mounted on the frame in front of the axle but seems to have issues picking up fuel...granted the line from tank is prolly 6 feet long...not ideal.... Thoughts, ideas, pics? Thanks!

any setup ive played with that had a cell and external pump, the pump was always right next to tank and lower then the drain fitting. im aware on a truck this is hard to make possible

If you could mount it behind the tank hanging down it would be ideal. Get it as close to the bottom of the tank as possible. Definitely sounds like its a little high.

I have leafs running along the outside of the frame though David.. It's hard to have it lower than cell cause of how low the cell and truck set..

Can you mount the pump off one of the fuel cell mounts. Maybe make a plate that can bolt to one of the mounting tabs on the cell. Almost right where the hose clamp is at in your pic? I thought you had a Magnafuel pump? They usually will bolt right up with the supplied bracket.
