Bouta send my 2000 Gmc sierra singlecab stepside to the shop hopefully this week,hitting the track soon,jus wondering what my time would be.
Lq9 6.0l.Stock 317 heads,K&n Intake,Electric cooling fans,tsp 228r,Yank ss3200 converter,Trans cooler.Detroit Tru trac 3:73 gears Pacesettrr Lt's,Magnaflow exhaust,4l60e with a shift kit,servo. Live tune. & Planning on running w. slicks to good a good hook. If I run on ss 20's what do you think ill run. What do you guys think?

If you are close to your goal you can cut some weight to make it. The rule is generally for every 100 pounds lost you will gain .1 secs. Loose the tail gate empty the glove box and everything else, run a 1/4 tank of gas, run light factory front wheels, remove passenger headlight assembly, remove passenger seats, spare tire, etc.... Also for cheap mods an under drive pulley($200) and efans can help you pick up a tenth or more. If all else fails.....

Yea the spare is off,no rear bumper have a roll pan.headlight will be takin out.I'm gonna read on under drive pulleys, noticed its popular. And I am interested in spraying,jus not in the budget right now.lol.

The NX mainline kit is like $400 or even less for guys on this site And it will give you a solid 150 shot. That would send you deep into the 12s for sure.
