    Belltech drop shocks question.

    I need drop shocks for the rear of my truck. Its lowered 2/4 and rides like crap. A friend told me belltech street and performance were good. I looked at several websites and there are 4 different part numbers. Which one do I need? Its a 2000 Chevy RCSB with a 2/4 drop. Are the belltechs the softest drop shocks? And finally do I need shock relocators?

    Don't think shock relocators are required.
    The belltech street performance are the ones you want, the nitro drop 2 aren't quite as good and I've heard of a few problems with them.

    I went with monroe light truck shocks on my 4.5/6 dropped silverado and the back end rides fantastic with them and together were only about 50 bucks...

    Actually the shock extenders do help because they put the shocks at the proper angle

    I was looking at the monroe's too. Maybe I'll try them first. I have three trucks that need them so a little experimenting is in order.

    Yea the monroes have the rear of my truck riding better than the rear end did stock, so theyre definitely an option. I've known a few trucks lowered 7 or so in the back on monroes

    Don't mean to thread jack, but what are you running in the front? My nitro actives are blown up lol.
