    4/6 Drop on the truck

So I've been thinking that the truck needs to be removed from its 4x4 ride height, and decided that as soon as I have a decent amount of money I'm going with a DJM 4/6 drop (LCA's and a flip). I was doing some measuring and eyeballing today and couldn't help but notice that I may encounter some rubbing once the truck has been lowered. I'm just wondering if there is a creative way to trim back the splash guards up front that keeps water and other junk out of the engine compartment and body. Truck is sitting on Tahoe 20's right now with 275/55/20 tires.

I heard they had issues with turning on some trucks though. I'm looking for good ride and easy alignment. Not to mention a lack of rubbing.

You won't get 4" of drop from just spindles...

I have spindles on my truck(older belltech style) and I lost a lot of turning radius. I was planning on cutting my coils in the future for another 2" of drop, but now I'm considering just switching to DJM arms, as I've heard many good things about them.

i just put spindles on mine, A) you will only get 2" of drop, B)275/55/20 will not clear, C) i lost a lot of turning radius. i will try drop arms in the near future.

Looks like next spring when I go for this I'll be swapping tires and control arms then. If any of you try them out before I get to it, tell me what you think of them.

The DJM LCA's will get you about 3" of drop. If youre 2wd...which I thought I had remembered this truck was....you can cut the spring down a little bit to give you another 1/2 or full inch of added drop up front. For the rear you can do shackles and hangers or like you said a flip kit.
