Corvette Brake swap

Does anyone know were to get the brackets. Ive looked on several sights with no luck

Got this from GMFS for you:

I did the Zo6 brake upgrade back in Oct. and have made many changes and adjustments w/ this set-up. I first did the 14" Powerslot rotors front & rear and then decided that their was more to be had running 15" rotors up front.

So after installing the 15" rotors (had to grind small area of calipers for clearance of 15" rotor), I then noticed the brake pad retaining clips where rubbing on the hat area of the rotors.

So I reinstalled the powerslot rotors and had the hat surface of the 15's machined down so the clips would clear the hats. I painted the hats before reinstalling them.

So in the meantime someone was working on making new brackets that eliminate any modding what so ever to make these fit correctly. So up to this point I had to shim the calipers to center over the rotor, grind the calipers to fit over 15" rotors (these brackets were not made for running 15" rotor, only the 14"rotors), and machine the hats of the 15's to make everything work right. So then along comes new style brakets that bolt right up with no shimming to center over rotor, no grinding to fit calipers onto 15" rotors, and no machining of hats to avoid clips from rubbing.

I am still running the 14" powerslot rear set-up but am very lucky that someone PM'ed me about the fitment of the rears. There concern was that if they were not centered of the rotors that they could destroy themselfs. So I took the apart to find this.



The rears also needed to be shimmed. The gouge was created by the pins in the caliper the seperates the brake pads from not being centered over the rotors. So I spent $250.00 on brackets that needed to be shimmed for them to work properly. I don't think every set is this way because I have heard of people installing them w/o having to shim for proper fitment. Just a FYI for people looking to do this upgrade. Very badass set-up now that all the bugs are being worked out.

The vette brake setup is pretty pricey for the conversion, might want to look into how much the calipers/pads cost. I originally fabbed the swap on speedaddicts truck back in 07. Like he said the brackets got copied.
