Made the trip down to Wichita Falls Raceway Park this weekend with Shawns' '55 racing the small tire class and the Sonoma running the bigtire class. We'd never been to the track, so didn't really know what to expect. During early time trials, one of the locals had some unfortunate luck and ended up wrecking his pro-mod.
Luckily, we were able to make it down through there and was low qualifier with Shawns' 55 in the small tire with a 5.41 at 133mph. The Sonoma was low qualifier in big tire as well. Shawn made it to the semi's where he got a little squirly and crossed center and lost to the eventual winner of the event. The Sonoma made it all the way to the finals and WON! 405 baby!
