    Smith Racecraft Assassin Traction Bars

Smith Racecraft has come up with another alternative to Cal-Tracs for us truck guys.

It's their Assassin bars that are on many of the 7 second drag radial and other small tire cars around the country.

The adjustment on these things is unreal! And installation will be easier since the front bolt on the leaf springs won't have to be removed. The price is also very competitive to even homemade units I've seen. I have yet to install these, but will be in the next few weeks.

Check them out here. If you have any questions, give them a call. Real nice and knowledgeable group who have built some of the fastest cars in the country.

The bounce don't have anything to do with the bars...I have the fix for that too though

Don't throw them on expecting to dead hook on the street if you make any kind of power. I was doing a pimp juice burnout and then leaving on motor dead hooking. By the time i sprayed it off the line there was a decent amount of rubber down. There is a ton of adjustments on these bars, you'll just have to find where your setup likes it best

Just to let you know, i have removed my overload and trimmed the second spring about an inch and reclamped it to get everything where it needs to be. You don't have to do this and may not even need to, but i did
