    Audio overkill... not enough?

Well the driverside door speaker on my girlfriends truck blew out. I am going to add a navi head unit this month hopefully(she is unfamiliar with our new town) and I figure its time for a fun upgrade anyways. I was looking at these. Let me know what you think.

I have been poking around the sonic website nothing really caught my eye just yet. Wanna point me in a good direction please. I am not a big fan of ebay right now so I wanna stay away from that.

I love the infinity door speakers I have in my truck. Before I had a sub they had fairely good bass and crisp sound.

My mom has the alpines in her suburban and I personally don't like the way they sound at all, but that's possibly just me. I would take justins advice...he's the one who got me into the audio que sub and well you know how it sounds.

LMAO agreed. Or a $40 GPS. Must have a damn big kitchen if she needs a nav unit.

Dont waste the money on a DVD/nav head unit...buy a good single din unit and use that extra money you would other wise be wasting for some of that performance stuff youre wanting to do, or for speakers.

She had a crapy little gps and she loves her moms nav. I get it for cheap and it will make her happy. As for it being my girlfriends ride.... It will prolly be my only ride soon. So it is where my money will be going. Girls are expensive no matter what. I figure at least I get to spend it on something I like
