    Column shift or Floor shift?

The next obstacle in my LM7 conversion is figuring out how to shift the 4l60e....

The detents for the column shifter are inside the column....causing a major head scratching on my part.

Is there a way to get the column shifter to work correctly with the 4l60e with out changing the column?

would it be better to invest in a lokar floor shifter?

A different shifter cable should do the trick.

You were able to use the factory linkage? or did you get a kit from somewhere? How does the indicator on the column work with the 4 speed?

Is the indicator electronic or just fluorescent bars? U can use the stock mechanical linkage. We've done a few conversions works fine.
