    Coil Relocation

    i know there are people on here that are moving the coils off the valve covers, i would like to know where they are putting them, and if anyone has pictures of the new coil placement.

    Hand p&p heads, 219-227 .607 .613, pacesetter, tbss intake, 92mm t-body, cai, e-fans, 14 bolt, 4.56, true trac, pi 2800, 33's, 4l80e built by me

    used LT1 plug wires, made my own brackets
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger

    thanks for the pictures, did the gas lines get in the way? and thats a bad ass motor

    we've been putting them down below mounted on the oil pan, mounts, etc, really hides them and cleans up the engine bay.

    What have you guys done, as far as wiring harness, to accommodate the relocation of the coils?

    pull the coil harness to the back of the engine, then install the extensions, that's it.
