    Th400 and driveshaft Q's

Im converting to a th400 and thought I'd have to ream the bolt holes to fit the 10mm ls1 block bolts, to the contrary I found that they were a little too big, I misplaced my caliper at the moment but it's not much, around .010, I'm wondering it it's too much. Going to look for a 10mm bolt with a shoulder to see what kind of dimension I can get. I just thought the th400 would have been sized to 3/8 bolts. Also wondering If anyone knows a place to have aluminum driveshafts cut and balanced around DFW or at least in TX, haven't been able to track down a shop yet. Thanks

It doesn't matter. The dowel pins line everything up and the bolts just secure it to the block.

ok thanks, my truck was a 5 speed, I think the autos had a shoulder on the bolt, which I think is the issue. Hope to have the new trans going soon thanks.
