*UPDATE* well my 4.8l spun a cram bearing, so im having a buddy swap a ls1 in it and putting a trickflow cam, shorty headers for now and nelson 91 octane tune in it. was planning on trying doing it myself but dont have the time or really the knowledge to do the entire swap so letting a friend do it should be running by 2/19/11.... hopefully but i plan on getting a built 4l60e with a nice torque converter, and of coarse long tube headers, cut out cats and full 3" exhaust

I'm by no means proud of this time, but a truck same year as mine 2wd ran the same time that day. And he is h/c/I 4.30 gears with a 3600-3800 stall. I will be putting in a 3200 circle d stall and long tubes the second weekend of April

Btw what was the weight of your truck mine was at full weight 5480(not making excuses just wondering)

my truck is heavier then that number posted

i looked at slip and my truck with 200 miles on it and 89 octane tune went 15.6@90 mph

is your truck a DOD truck? mine was along with VVT and the stock valve springs are junk and really couldnt handle boost.
