    Central Texas Rain

    This is some of the aftermath from the recent rains that just moved through. These pictures were taken on CR971 and HWY29 at CR120.





    Look at the debris line on the gravel compared to where the trucks are parked. The gravel is about 2ft higher than where the trucks are.

    Here is a storage unit off of CR971 between Georgetown and Weir.





    Look at the debris caught in the power lines.

    Good pics. Man flooding can do some damage. Here in waco at my house we have had 11 inches since it started raining yesterday morning. Last night 7 inches alone, We had some major flooding this morning, but It was to dark for me to get pics.

    Yea, these are nothing compared to what I saw earlier in the day, but I didn't have my camera on me when I went out this morning.

    Man I would hate to be any of those people with stuff in the storage facility.

    Man that is rough. I have been there done that. I lost everything I had as a teenager in 1994. Flood damage is rough.

    That looks more like CR 100 & Hwy 29 to me...

    We got hit pretty good here too...Bull Creek behind our Condo was raging like Niagara Falls..haha..
    Here's a pic I took a week earlier:

    This was the next morning after the first day of hard rain. Keep in mind, I've been here five years and this roadway has always been passable through all storms that I could remember.


    Here you can see how far the waterline got.
