AWD or 2wd SS? should be a 14bolt with a 65e 3:73/4:10 depending how it came.
i hope you're getting money on top of the deal, and the SS has really low miles.
why not just swap in a LY6 with your heads or better heads, itll save you the hassle of getting a different truck.
do you have LTs/OR-y/exhaust? how about a cam? my buddys 09 ccsb 5.36L80e put down 522rwhp on 20s so i dont see why you say your 5.3 isnt keeping up. but anyways
the S/C will swap over with no problems.

2008 GMC CCSB 6.2/6L80e swap
Gen IV 5.3/60e swap 1994 ecsb W/T
The SC should fit, but you will have to get the harness to convert to the 87mm throttle body that it would be made for.
true, he'd have to get the Dr. X link its like 200.00 or so. also he'd have to swap the fuel injector pigtails thats another 65 or so.

probably the AWD. the ss came with the pos 65 too? Iv'e read mixed reviews where they have stated it came with 60e's and 80e's. Well I'm hoping to do a trade at this dealer in san diego. the truck only has 8k miles but the downfall is that the truck has been altered for show which imo is pretty gay. it has lambo doors and a body kit with a bunch of other crap. i was just gonna take all that crap off.
the ly6, is that the 6.o motor? is there any way i can stroke the 5.3 to make the ci bigger than the 6.0? do the 5.3 and the 6 have the same heads?
Yes I do. I have lt doug thorleys, true dual 3", no cam
thanks guys
The SS has the 4L65e. Only the 2wd SS had the 14 bolt. The AWD trucks have the 10 bolt.
the LY6 is the 6.0 for the NNBS. it has L92 heads, that's why i say find a short block and just put your heads on it or put some really good heads.
you can bore the 5.3 to a 347 then add a stroker crank for an LS1 and run a 383 stroker kit with stock bore LS1 pistons.
i think the 6.0 would be cheaper imo but whatever you wanna do.
also i wouldnt trade for the SS with all that stupid stuff on it. you'll be fighting to try and sell everything off of it.
