I got me a new toy to cruise around while Im home. Its an 04 Escalade Diamond Edition, so far the system is going to be:
Clarion VZ400 7" dvd Head unit with NP400 navigation add on
JL HD900/5 amp, just going to amp the factory bose for now on the highs..
2 JL W6 12s going behind the third row seat in a custom fiberglass box
2 Farad capacitor
0 ga JL amp wiring kit, JL HD RCA cables
i will post some pics when its all in. Just posting the parts I have so far.

lol, I have too many... and just sold a few. you can never have enough...lol...
As far as the system in the Caddi, I got it all in this last week, turned out great! I installed the Clarion VZ400, JL HD900/5 amp, and 1.5 farad cap. and got it all runing. Hooked it up to my old JL W6 12s, and boom... few hits the old 12s could not hang...lol...had 2 JLW3v3 10s sitting on the shelf, so threw them in in a nice ported box.... was just not enough... so went and grabbed 2 JL W3v3 12s from the local stereo shop, and built a nice sealed box that takes all the room behind the third row seat, and wrapped it in some nice suade that matched the interior nice... finished product is nice.. full out Jams... Its nice to only have one small amp, and have all that noise and clarity.... Im happy with how it turned out...
Now I just need to get the Black hole system in....
for it... im going with its usual over the top attitude...lol
so far I have:
JL HD900/5 amp
JL 10W7 sub that will go in custom built console box
2 JL ZR 6.5 components for the doors
2 JL ZR 5.25 components that will be in the formed kick panels
Should be some nice sound in a single cab...lmao...:shock:
