    evap system

I'm in the middle of swapping my 5.3 out og my 2000 gmc sierra. Just had a quik question as to what to do with that evap canister that was bolted to the intake manifold. Would i be able just to put a breather on it for the tank any help would be awsome.

That is the EVAP solenoid. Why do you need to do anything with it? You are putting the engine in something else or putting in a new engine?

Just attach a hose to the sol and take it to the intake man port so it all works like it's supposed to.

plastic weld...sealed it up...no vac leaks

edit, the hole on the l92 intake is quite a bit smaller than the99-06 manifolds, might be able to use a freeze plug ...
