single disc converter or triple?

i have an 05 silverado. new 5.3l with comp cam and beehive springs. i had the tranny built with monster trannys best kit and used their good torque converter for the 4l65. before i even had a chance to boost the truck i tore the material off of my torque converter and my truck isnt much more than just stock. any ideas why this would happen?

Lots of things can cause clutch lock up failure... to many to list.... Could be bad converter, trans build lost lock up ... and possibly even tune...
