    Needing a good low/mid cam for my stock 5.3

    well I am wanting to cam my 07 nnbs.. my mods are in the sig. no motor work has been done. it lacks on the bottom end even with the 4.10 gears so I am wanting a good low/mid cam. any suggestions on cams you guys have seen in action and perform well? also reccomendations on where to purchase. Thanks guys/gals!
    2007 NBS silverado, DJM 4"-6" drop, Magnaflow muffler, Volant cold air, Richmond 4.10 gears, SLP underdrive pulley, Diablosport P.O.S. tuner. TURBO SOON TO COME!

    im not an expert but i saw M3SRT's truck and i beleve in his cam choice as i had this cam in mind even befor i saw his vids,and he proved me right

    spec

    TSP 220\220 of duration , .581\.581 of lift , and 114+2 lsa

    with bolt ons he did make this

    check on the thunder racing website they have all sorts of diff cams for all types of applications

    Comp LSR cam: 215/224 .604/.610 112 107. Makes the best low/mid torque on desktop dyno, without leaving too much to wish for at the top end.

    I know it's kinda high lift, but that's what the cam specs are from Comp. It should be ok for clearance though, right?

    It will be very very iffy in a 5.3, depending on the valve events. And ditch the handheld.

    i got a custom speced cam with more lift than that for the 4.8
    it will be fine with supporting springs/pushrods

    I did ditch the handheld.. lol I just got my computers from Nelson Performance last week. put them in today. feels better now except for trans slipping on 1-2.. lol guess my tranny build will come sooner than thought!
