    408 ?

    Hi everybody

    i have LQ9 engine and crankshaft dameged, so i decided to make a 408 stroker.

    so which is better to choose
    Callies / Compstar | Eagle ?

    i'm planning to take Eagle since it hase less prise, but i'm afraid of how long it will work ?



    pistons i will choose Dimond Pistons.


    PLS advice me in all the parts for the stroker

    sounds like you are headed in the right direction. eagle is good stuff, and diamond pistons are good as well. get her built and make some good power.

    The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

    eagle for NA applications works very well. Other brands are lighter and stouter but if not pushing the envelope arent needed for NA

    Callies now has a low end brand, K1, and the crank is only $600 last I heard. Callies has a great reputation and one of the magazines built an engine with the crank and got great results out of it. I believe it was GMHTP.

    K1 was actually started by some of Oliver's old designer's.Nothing to do with Callies,there low end stuff is the Compstar line I think...

    Ya, i have diamonds in my 6.0.. Holding up great, im going wiseco next build to try them out.
