    Will 15's fit?

I have an 01 ext cab with front/rear disc (single piston in back if it matters)

I had 16's stock, and was always told that 15's would not fit.

I had a mudding mishap this weekend, and blew out my spare. Don't really feel like dishing out 400 bucks for a new one right now (and the tires I have are on backorder until july) Buddy has a couple tires that are close to the same size, but for a 15" rim. Will they clear the calipers?

15" rims will not fit on the front of our trucks the calipers hit. I tried to switch the stock tires / rims between my '84 K5 and '04 K1500 a while back and no worky worky.
