    4.8 to Lq9 swap

    Picked up a truck yesterday for a buddy of mine, base model 05 GMC witha 4.8l for cheap....it has 227,000 miles...but who cares about mileage

    truck will be getting LQ9 With cam and heads, built 4l65e and maybe a 14 bolt that is sittin in the shop too....

    will post of pics as the build gets started and as it continues...stay posted

    better gas mileage but love not having to shift in traffic.
    looks good man, staying like it is or doing some paint and such?
