I have a stock intake and thought about the camaro intake swap. I had mixed reading about that. Who has done it and what are the pros and con's? I have two if anybody needs one

I tryed it on mine about 6 months ago and it killed my bottom end, I think it was my gear at the time 342 and stock trans & convertor, may be lower compression w/ the 5.3 not sure, anyway i put my stock intake back on and it ran much better..

IMO this is a waste of time and money. The truck intake works great.
