    Finishline Transmissions

I just blew my tranny out yesterday, and i was looking into what tranny i wanna get next. And i came across Finishline Transmissions. And the reason im on my third transmission is cause i have 24's on my truck. Thy're heavy as balls! Sooooo,i want to know if this tranny can handdle the 24's.

    I have a 01 5.3
cold air intake,TBS,exhaust, and other little things.Nothing major...

Go ahead and upgrade to a 4l80 but the level 5 4l60e can prolly handle a stock engine with no problem at all. The wheels are not as likely a culprit as you would think.

I have been running a FLT Level 5 65E for a couple years now in a 6200# 4wd Avalanche throwing 650 ponies at 305/50/20 nitto's..... The FLT is a solid peice. Just call and talk to Chuck about your plans... I spent a couple of hours talking with him one night about my build....

I think you will be fine, but I don't know anything about your truck or your driving habits... I learned a long time ago almost anything can be broken if one tries hard enough....

    Good Luck
