    Audio Questions

well I am about to start getting my system in my truck, and i wanted to get yall's 2 cents. here is my current setup, please tell me what you think.

    Kenwood DDx712 DVD receiver - $599.99
    (2) 10" Rockford Fosgate T110D4 4ohms 1200w max 600w rms- $189.95 each
i have a bose system in my truck, so i figure i could keep the highs. What amp so i get? What wire size and etc. also where to get a dvd screen for the passenger sunvisor and for the headrest.

if you are getting 2 D4 I'm assuming the are dual 4ohm subs...so your wiring options are going to be a 4ohm load or a 1 ohm load...I would recomend finding an amp that is stable to 1 ohm.. and about 1k watts RMS look for a reputable company kicker, mtx,jl,jbl, there are many many more....for anything 1k or above I would run at least 0gauge as far as the screens ebay is as good a place as any..

I have a Rockford T2 15 in my truck right now and love it. The T1 10s beat pretty hard.

Throw all that bose crap in the trash. Trust me if you want it to sound good get rid if the "no highs no lows must be bose. "

that wire kit is really good that will work fine for that amp....as for the amp it self it really is not a good match for those subs because it will only do 500 watts at a 4ohm load and I do not think it is 1 ohm stable....the I deal setup would be if your subs were single 4 ohm subs, that way you could wire them together and put a 2ohm load on that amp and it would give you 1000watts on a 2ohm load, I would either sell the subs and get single voice coil subs or not get that amp and get 2 smaller ones and power the subs seperate....honestly though it would be easier and cheaper to just get different sub.
