Why dont people use 4.8 in any swap?
I know " theres no replacement for displacement" but why has noone used a 4.8?

ummm...I have a 4.8 in my truck...and I like it....
but for the same money you can have a 6.0
but in my s10 swap that im doin the 5.3 will be big enough

i had one of the faster 4.8's on this site. But My 4.8 with a bolt ons and a cam with a tune, made only 317whp/ 300wtq. Thats about what a stockish 6.0 will make. Also NA 6.0's were running what I was with nitrous. If I would have takin all my mods and put them on a 6.0 instead, I would have been in the low 12's high 11's maybe with a good launch setup. with 4.8 I was at 13.4@ 107mph.
