I recived my truck from my dad as a graduation gift. Its a 2004 RCSB W/the 4.8/4l60e. When i recived it, it had 5000 miles on the clock. I found out about ls1truck.com talked to Redheartbeat and GMCwantsLS1 they told me "EVERYTHING" i had to do and what to watch out for. I didnt know a damn thing about car/trucks mechanically but they made me feel like i could do an engine swap.
So 3 weeks later i found a 36k 2002 Camaro SS LS1 long block(no intake) w/ all the sensors for 1000$. That next weekend i had a LS1Truck!
This is whats happened so far...

I dont really have any exterior mods or show mods. I like it that im All Go/No Show. The look on people's faces is priceless when they see my truck missing its front bumber and stock wheels break lose at a 30mph roll. Then i have to let up on the gas to just grab traction again, then fly by them waving with my 3" ORY with no exhaust screaming at them as i pull away.
(I Unbolt my exhaust every once in a while so what? its only two bolts )
Thanks to everyone on LS1 truck for all the information and inspiration. Especially to redheartbeat and gmcwantsls1 for the original spark.
