    New Guy from Texarkana, AR

Whats up guys/gals, my name is Jason and I have a 07 Silverado extended cab. I have done a few mods but I need A LOT more! So far I have put a DJM lowering kit on, 4:10 gears, underdrive pulley (havnt installed yet but have it in my room), Volant cold air, and Diablo tuner (which I hate because of no TCM support).

I am looking forward to reading some great posts and learning a lot from all of you. Thanks for your help in the future!

Welcome! Ditch the Diablo and get a Nelson tune. You'll be glad you did...

The only thing you will learn from us is how to spend money...and maybe a thing or two about these trucks, but mostly money.

yeah I have been doing some reading on the nelson tunes.. I went to their website the other day just to look at pricing and what not. and I believe it said that the 07 trucks tunes couldnt be shipped? does that sound right? I have been wanting to ditch the diablo since I got it. I was misled to believe it had trans support and it doesnt. the torque management is my nemesis right now.

I dont have problems spending money, I just need help on what to spend it on so I spend it right the first time! Thanks again

    Welcome.

A handheld can provide trans support on models other that the 07+ GMT900....but even then not as well as a custom or mail order tune. Your truck has a separate transmission control module. It can be reprogrammed as well.

I lowered it 4 in the front 6 in the rear. the rear still sets up a lil higher than the front so I guess im going to end up putting a 1" block under the rear to try to level it out. I recently got a new computer and havent loaded any pics on it yet but I am going to get some pretty soon.
