    What do you guys think?

Ok, I've got my 5.3L on the stand and have to replace 1 cylinder head on it because the exhaust manifold was ripped off of it. I figured I may as well go ahead and do both head gaskets and put a cam in it now as well. It's going in an 82 S-10 so I'll already have headers, custom intake and probably a higher stall converter. I've looked at the ls6 hot cam kit and I'm kinda leaning towards it right now but I'm not sure. You guys have any other suggestions on the cam and other mods I should go ahead and do while it's out and easy to work with? The truck is going to be used as a street/strip truck and probly only be driven on weekends and maybe to work once or twice.

do you have to get a car intake manifold to make it fit in that s-10?

I don't think so it should clear, I was planning on getting a cowl hood anyway if it doesnt fit under the stock one.

The cam is a great idea. What heads do you have on it.

Its gonna have the stock 5.3's on it. I'm probably going to end up with a T70 turbo setup on it so I figured a little more cam may help it out.
