    Engine problem, completely stumped

Ok guys heres my problem. My truck has pretty much been sitting since spring time, though I've been working on it a bit. Well I got my Gto and I decided the truck has to go. I put it pretty much back to stock engine wise. The problem im having is the truck is running like ****! The Drivers side bank is pig rich, and the passenger side is normal. I have tryed everything I can think of. Compression test reads out good, I did plugs and wires (drivers side is black as night when I take them out), I changed the MAF, I tested the fuel injectors, I have spark, I did a smoke test to check for leaks. The things runs like complete ass it feels like its running on 5 cylinders no joke. Has no power what so ever. Anybody have any idea where to go next? Im stumped and frustrated and I would appreciate and advice or suggestions.

Sounds like your O2 sensors are bad. Did you have headers on the truck where you would have had to mess with the O2's? Mine did the exact same thing, put a new one in and started reading right and running better.

I did put shorties on it, but I didn't have to mess with the 02's. Obviously that doesn't mean the are not bad, I will order one up and give it a shot. Any other ideas to try in the mean time?

Swap bank 1 and bank 2 and check the reading, if you have a scanner.

Take a look at the Cats for that bank also. I had a converter go bad on the passenger side due to a badly leaking injector and It acted like you describe.

Fuel Pressure regulator might be leaking into that bank of cylinders.
