    Talking Newbie from HO-uston

Just joined up and wanted to say "hey" from Texas.

Traded my '05 GMC 2500HD CC Duramax for this '08 Sierra Denali. Far and away the finest new vehicle I've ever owned.

For a stocker truck, it feels wicked fast. Switching off the traction control system is quite fun, but will be very (tire wear) expensive. Handles great and rides smooth but firm - just the way I like it.

Bought mine with the NAV system and sunroof. Spending my daughter's inheritance, LOL!

Don't care much for the bling-bling chrome Denali 20's, so I'll be swapping them out for a set of new take-off "regular" Sierra/Yukon polished 20's tomorrow.

Might even go to the strip and see what it'll do stock, and then maybe a few mods. Has anyone here heard what a stocker 6200/6L80E combo will run in the 1/4?

Welcome to LS1truck! Yeah man, those NNBS Sierra Denali's are badass with the 6.2/6L80e! Not sure of the times, but I know that by adding a CAI, headers, a catback, and a custom tune will drop the times considerably for the 2WD model... Quit messing around--get to modding that thing!
