    Hey just checking in im the new guy. I just want to start by saying this forum rocks I love all the wright ups and the live teck thing. I got a 2000 GMC 5.3 ltr. ext cab 4x4. Ive only had it about a month now. I got a K/N cia and thats it so far. Im in Indiana right for work but I live in Mississippi (cant wait to get back down south)when im not on the road. I hope to finish this job in about a month then im thinking turbo. But I think I'll start with a trans lol.

    Welcome! Trans is a great weak link to fix before you get too far into some new power. Glad to have you here.

    Whazzup man! Welcome to the site! Sounds like you've got your mods planned well...most people start at the motor with small bolt ons like you--which is ok--but once you start doing heavy mods, e.g. FI, then you will definitely need to beef up that tranny!

    Yep! I not happy with these trans at all, disappointed that GM would put it in there trucks

    I like the look of your truck. almost looks like mine. Mask off the red in your gmc grill and paint it black. look at mine and see if you like the look. I also have to paint the chrome on my mirrors.
