    over head console

    how hard is it to put a overhead console in a truck that did not come with one, and how do you hook up the lights in the con?

    It would be an easy splice... Just need to make sure you mount it correctly--don't want it falling off on you as you are driving 70 mph down the freeway!

    What year truck? I put one in my 96 GMC and it was a piece of cake. I also got a PSI mirror prototype from where I used to work, im checking into whether or not I can get more of them. RC

    There's a bezel and a retainer. The retainer attaches to the header with 2 fasteners I believe in your model and the bezel and electronics snaps into the retainer. I'll see if I can get some screenshots of an exploded view might take me a few days. RC

    I mounted a S10 blazer's overhead console in my S10 pickup (pickups never came w/ them). I still have to wire it up. I mounted it using JB Weld.. I JB'd two bolts to the roof & screwed a screw into the support at the front to secure it all. Maybe you'll have to do something close. Just be sure to measure, measure, measure & then do it.
