no spark no injector pulse please help!!!

I am ready to start my 89 c1500 -00 5.3 4l60e conversion. I have no fire ,no injector pulse and the code reader shows no MIL. I have triple checked the grounds made sure the pcm has constant voltage. What am I missing? Jim

Failed to have the VATS disabled in the PCM? Connected the Cam sensor at the back of the block top center? Connected the crank sensor above and behind the starter.

Yes, I plugged in the cam sensor and the crankshaft sensor. I wish it could have been that simple that way I could feel stupid for only a little while, while the truck was running. HAHA Jim

What about the VATS? Has it been disabled in the PCM tune?

I would assume it was .I can't get ahold of the guy that did my harness/pcm. Yes I know what happens when I assume. Would the VATS keep it from firing and fueling? Jim

Yep, that's it job. You don't want to give fuel and fire to the guy stealing your truck. A cut or pinched wire from the cam sensor or crank sensor will keep it from firing, too. Don't ask me how I know.

The coils and injectors should have a +12 volts with the key on and the PCM pulses the ground. You might check for the +12 to ground at the connectors. I think the wire color is pink.

I do have 12 volts at the coil terminals and at the injector terminals. I checked the grounds at the pcm also. Jim

its odd it doesn't bust off for a second then die. Make sure the wires going to the cam and crank sensors didnt get pinched between or cut by something. Do you have fuel pressure at the rails?
